From Reality to Overlay is an interactive installation exploring how digital information, algorithms and AI increasingly shape the way we perceive reality. Visitors begin by seeing themselves clearly in a mirror, but as they move along the installation, their reflection is gradually covered by words, labels and data such as AI, bias, filter, prediction, trust, fake, truth and data.

Visitors are invited to add their own thoughts and questions, allowing the installation to evolve throughout the event. The work asks: How much of what we see is our own interpretation? What happens when information begins to cover reality? And how do we decide what to trust?

Rather than presenting technology as either positive or negative, From Reality to Overlay creates a space for curiosity, participation and reflection.
